- Urban areas: empty streets, backyards and parks howling and whistling, trees rustling, plastic and cloth materials flapping.
- Rural areas: meadows, cliffs, forests, marshes, montane grasslands, high mountain ridges.
- Wind through vegetation:bushes, shrubs, trees, corn fields, palm leaves, lanceolate leaves.
- Indoor perspectives: windows, shelters, attics, cars, even from inside a helmet.
- Unless it’s specified in the filename, all recordings are free of human made noises, birds and insect.
- From turbulent winds to long sweeping gusts and light breezes.
- LOM Geofon was used both in stereo and mono configurations. Attached to several materials (chimneys, ACs, bottles, chains) blasted by wind. Depending on the homogeneity of the sounds, these files have been delivered either in mono as two different channels or in stereo. You can always split them up.
